Description

Random Block Drops changes what you get when you mine: every block you break drops a completely random item instead of its usual loot. The item is drawn from the entire vanilla item registry, so the pool isn't limited to basic or craftable items — it covers every single item in the game. That includes things you'd normally never get your hands on: all spawn eggs, splash and lingering potions, the dragon egg, elytra, totems of undying, tridents, heart of the sea, every music disc and goat horn, all pottery sherds and smithing templates, plus saddles and name tags. The only items excluded are 14 technical and developer items that would break the game or serve no purpose as a drop — air, barriers, light blocks, all three command blocks, the command block minecart, structure blocks, structure void, jigsaw blocks, debug sticks, knowledge books and the test blocks. Drops are also deterministic per world: the same block type always yields the same item within one world, so you can learn which blocks give the best loot instead of relying purely on luck. Creative mode players are unaffected and keep normal vanilla behaviour. The mod is fully server-side and works on multiplayer servers, and a single jar covers Minecraft 1.21.8 through 1.21.11 with the Fabric API.
