Recon Omega: Military Armor is a stylized tactical/military Armor mod for Minecraft 1.20.1 on Forge. The Armor sets look semi-realistic and will perfectly fit into your MilSim, multiplayer shooter or zombie apocalypse. Craft an Armory Block to begin purchasing your gear with Emeralds in an intuitive HUD. No guide needed, everything is straight-forward and easy to use! Features: Equip your Vests with up to 3 Armor Plates! These will each take a low-damage hit for you - but only if they're dealt by a mob or a player. Perfect to tank a few shots from a pistol, but it'll not withstand a hit from a sniper rifle (firearms not included in the mod!) Some helmets feature Night Vision Goggles! Use them for immersive night combat! They can be toggled on or off if you so desire (Using V by default). They might be broken for some so I'm looking into it. Each Armor piece has identical stats to Diamond Armor except they have an additional point of Armor Toughness. Pick any combination of Armor without worrying too much about stats. Fair play between all factions! When enabled via a gamerule, Hostile Mobs can now spawn with Military Armor! Improve immersion in military or zombie apocalypse or whatever experience you want to create! This is disabled by default. Armor sets

Firstly you need an armory block, which can be crafted with 3x smooth stone on top, an emerald in the middle and wood in the other slots (in a U shape). The UI of the block is very straightforward. Simply select the armor you want, insert the emeralds, and purchase it! It really is that easy. (Besides the steep emerald cost) How to use Viper Armor flight? To start flight, simply press the jump key while facing above the horizon! When facing below the horizon double jump is instead activated! To effectively fly it's best to activate flight from a double jump or jumping from a high enough place. How to use armor plates? Simply hold right click to apply up to 3 armor plates! There's different kind of armor plates, each with their own use case. Each applied plate on your vest will fully block one hit from a player or mob . Fall damage and other environment based damage are not blocked. Also, they only block a hit if it's under a certain amount of damage! How to enable night vision? You must first have a helmet that supports night vision. Many NVGs come in their own distinct color! V is the default key to toggle them on or off.
