Description

ReignClient

ReignClient is the client-side mod of the Reign Cobblemon server. It adds the screens the server uses (phone, trainer card, GTS, Pokébuilder, Poké Radar…) and improves Cobblemon's battle interface.

Note: most menus are opened by the Reign server. On other servers, only the battle HUD improvements are active. The mod is client-only.

Battle HUD (works on any Cobblemon server)

  • Thicker HP bars on the battle tiles, in three shades (green / yellow / red), with the HP written inside: 301/301 (100.0%) for your Pokémon, 46.0% for the opponent.
  • Colour-coded battle log on a dark background:
    • stat changes in purple, weather and field effects in teal, damage in blue, healing in green, K.O. in red, critical hits and type effectiveness in gold;
    • your trainer and Pokémon names in blue, the opponent's in pink;
    • a ──── Turn N ──── line between turns;
    • a damage line after each hit (Marowak took 23% damage!).
  • Weather, terrain and side-condition icons next to the battle tiles.
  • Movable and resizable battle log.

Reign server features

  • Phone menu with the world map and quick actions.
  • Trainer card with your badges.
  • GTS: browse, list and trade Pokémon with other players.
  • Mega crafting: craft Mega Stones from server-configured ingredients.
  • Pokébuilder: change your Pokémon's IVs, EVs and nature, with prices set by the server.
  • TM move tutor: teach moves from your Pokémon's learnset, shown with Cobblemon's TM discs, with type and source filters.
  • Pokédex Research tab.
  • Poké Radar: see which Pokémon can appear around you, rarity by rarity, with each one's chance.
  • Catch Combo: catch the same species in a row to raise your shiny odds, perfect IVs and hidden ability chance. A small HUD widget shows your combo; you can move it, resize it and choose which side the counter is on.
  • Dimensional rifts: rift HUD with stars, level bonus, energy timer and missions. The rift HUD's position and size can be changed in Mod Menu.
  • Cosmetics: hats and backpacks displayed on players.
