History
Deepslate was added in 1.18, as apart of the Caves and Cliffs update, as to compensate for the extra 64 blocks added below the original bedrock level of y = 0. It functions the same as Stone, however, it is mined slower and some consider it ugly.
Mods goal
This mod aims to replace Deepslate with Stone, mirroring the original preview screenshots when this update was announced. This makes mining at this level much easier earlier on.
