About
Description
Repair Ring is a lightweight NeoForge mod for Minecraft 26.2 that adds two craftable rings for automatically repairing damaged equipment.
As long as one of the rings is anywhere in your inventory, it periodically repairs damaged tools, weapons, and equipped armor. No XP is required, and the ring does not need to be held or placed in a special slot.
The standard Repair Ring has 1000 durability. Each durability point restored to another item consumes 1 durability from the ring.
The Eternal Repair Ring provides the same automatic repair ability but does not lose durability when repairing items. If both rings are in your inventory, the Eternal Repair Ring takes priority.
Features:
- Automatically repairs damaged tools, weapons, and armor
- Works from anywhere in the player inventory
- No XP cost
- Standard Repair Ring has 1000 durability
- 1 ring durability is consumed for each durability point restored
- Eternal Repair Ring never loses durability
- Eternal Repair Ring takes priority when both rings are present
- Repair Rings do not repair themselves or each other
- Configurable repair amount
- Configurable repair interval
- Optional whitelist
- Optional blacklist
- Blacklist takes priority over whitelist
- Dynamic tooltip displays the configured repair rate
- Server-side configuration through repairring-common.toml
By default, the mod creates a repairring-common.toml configuration file where you can control how the ring behaves.
Example settings:
[repair]
repairOnlyWhenDamaged = true
whitelist = ""
blacklist = ""
repairAmount = 1
repairIntervalTicks = 100
Minecraft runs at 20 ticks per second, so repairIntervalTicks = 100 repairs items every 5 seconds.
Whitelist and blacklist entries use Minecraft item IDs. For example:
whitelist = "minecraft:diamond_pickaxe,minecraft:elytra"
blacklist = "minecraft:wooden_pickaxe"
Leave the whitelist empty to allow all repairable items.
