Resurrections
No reviews yet
This is a Minecraft mod I made for my hardcore multiplayer server. After a player dies, they drop their soul which can be placed in the reviving station and revived.
Focuses on automation and resource processing through scientific and mechanical means, utilizing systems like electricity (RF/FE/etc), air pressure, or rotation.
Centers around fantasy elements such as spells, rituals, and magical energies, often involving personal empowerment and magical automation.
Fabric is a mod loader for versions 1.14+ of Minecraft, particularly popular for client side and optimization mods.

Resurrections
The mod was originally made for a hardcore server that I was running. It currently adds a way to revive players after they die, with config on the way for almost everything.
Blocks
This mod currently adds 1 block to the game; the Resurrecting Station. Which is crafted with the recipe below.

Items
This mod currently adds 3* items to the game. Soul, which is dropped upon player death. Whenever the soul is in either the world, inventory or any other container it will slowly decay until it deletes itself. Soul Essence is obtained by shift-right-clicking a held soul and destroying it. It also adds Soul Tomes, which vary in power, with the first tier (lesser) having a chance for restoring half a Soul Heart. The second tier (greater) guarantees half a Soul Heart and a chance for another half. The final tier (pure) guarantees a whole Soul Heart and a chance to obtain an extra 2.
Resurrection
The process of reviving a dead player is really simple, after crafting the Resurrecting Station, use a player's Soul on the Resurrection Station and the reviving process will begin.
Player Souls will decay even while in the Resurrecting Station but you can see the remaining percentage of the time remaining.
The Resurrecting Station will emit a comparator signal relative to the amount of time remaining.
While the player is in the Resurrecting Station, you can use items (in the config soon^TM^) to repair the player's soul. Different items repair their soul a different amount, with hard caps for the amount of each item usable to repair the Soul. After the souls is fully repaired, the player is brought back into the Resurrecting station and the occupied Soul item is destroyed.
Planned features
Currently the mod is not feature complete. I am planning to add:
-
Config for near everything
-
More features related to resurrection, with 2 currently in planned for v1.3
-
More features to do with souls, including a whole new dimension! (name drop at 100 downloads)
-
And a few more things that are secret right now :)
WARNINGS
This is my first public mod!!!!! It probably has many bugs! Please report any bugs to me on discord (@x_explotion) and I'll try to fix them but still: beware! The player data for a soul is stored in a component of the item, called (something or other). This can be used to spawn them in with commands if anything happens. Please be patient with me as I try to fix them. Have fun!
This mod is going on the back burner for a little bit, a content update is planned in the future but I am unsure of it.
