Every 10-25 minutes a checkpoint of the world is created, and upon death the world will revert to the previous copy.
Inspired by anime series and other cultural phenomena, often featuring recognizable characters and settings.
Centers around fantasy elements such as spells, rituals, and magical energies, often involving personal empowerment and magical automation.
Not intended for multiplayer: does not support dedicated servers, lacks a server pack, or is known to break in multiplayer.
Includes quality of life improvements and small tweaks to enhance and customize gameplay.

Return By Death
THIS WAS NOT MADE WITH MULTIPLAYER IN MIND AND HAS NOT BEEN TESTED WITH IT!
This mod is a recreation of Return By Death from Re:Zero. It works by saving a copy of the world every 10-25 minutes and upon death reverts the current world to the last save.
- A checkpoint will not be saved if the player is not on the ground, on fire, or under water.
- World checkpoint saves can be found in a folder called "ReturnByDeath" outside the mod folder.
I do plan on adding a config file with a lot of settings as well as porting features to the 1.20.1 version. And I might also port it to other versions if requested.
WARNING! This mod is not full proof, I can't guarantee everything will work right, so if you're using this mod on a valuable world I recommend making a backup.
- If used on large worlds it might be slower and take up more storage due to it making a duplicate of the world.
- I also cannot guarantee compatibility with other mods.
