About

Description

Overview

Returner is a lightweight quality-of-life mod that modernizes travel commands for legacy Forge 1.12.2 packs. It focuses on reliable player movement, cooldown control, and essential admin helpers without dragging in newer framework requirements.

Major Features

  • Persistent homes, warps, and spawn travel with configurable limits and cooldowns
  • Random teleport that scans for safe terrain, respects world borders, and retries intelligently
  • /back history tracking so players can undo mishaps or return after deaths
  • Player-to-player TPA and TPHere request system with accept/deny/cancel flow
  • Quick admin helpers including instant heals and toggleable god mode
  • Robust per-player data storage with NBT persistence and automatic tab-name sync

Command Reference

/home /sethome /delhome /homes /warp /setwarp /delwarp /warps /spawn /back /rtp /tpa /tpahere /tpaccept /tpdeny /tpcancel /heal /god

All commands honor cooldowns and permission checks defined in the configuration.

Configuration

After first launch, edit config/warp.cfg to adjust:

  • Enable/disable toggles for each command family
  • Cooldown durations per command type
  • RTP minimum/maximum distance, attempt count, and block blacklist
  • Operator requirements for sensitive utilities like /heal and /god Changes can be made in-game via Forge’s mod config screen or by editing the file directly.

Installation

  1. Drop the jar into the mods folder of a Forge 1.12.2 server or client.
  2. Start once to generate configuration defaults.
  3. Tweak config/warp.cfg to match your server’s rules, then reload.

Notes

  • Designed for cooperative and survival-focused servers that want essentials-style travel without upgrading past 1.12.2.
  • Additional misc utilities are on the roadmap; feedback and crash reports are welcome.
  • Works alongside common modpacks; no hard dependencies beyond Forge itself.
