Description

The Anvil is a great utility block in minecraft that allows you repair items, and add powerful enchantments to your gear. As it stands, in modded minecraft, with so many different possible enchantments that mods can add, that XP cost per item can really inflate and quickly exceed vanilla's default limit which is a measly 39 levels. This mod reworks the anvil to better suit modded minecraft.


Better Anvil:

  • Allows the XP cost to scale as long as you can pay for it, you are no longer limited.
  • Preserves high level enchants that you could get from events, bosses, or rare trades that are higher than vanilla.
  • Config option for making the XP cost cap out at 100, not scale infinitely.
  • Config option for making the Anvil free-to-use.
