RexCraft

NOTE: While there is a lot I'd like to do with this mod, I am currently in college so development time is unfortunately restricted to my breaks. ALSO NOTE: This mod requires Geckolib to function (SPECIFICALLY 3.1.19), without it the mod will crash. It also benefits greatly from my supplementary mod: Crafter’s Guide to RexCraft, which is a recipe book that explains every part of the mod for the player.

This mod adds in new materials, mobs, armor/weapons, and blocks. It’s designed as more of a supplementary mod to vanilla, nothing crazy. 

The new armor and weapons can be made with a new material; steel, which can be obtained by smelting blocks of iron. They can then be upgraded, and the armor can be changed to look the way the player wants. 

Aside from a few smaller mobs, the main mobs added from this mod are dinosaurs. These will vary from loyal companions to utility animals of all shapes and sizes. Unlike most other mods involving dinosaurs, they and other entities simply spawn in the world and can be tamed by the player. All of the methods of taming, breeding, and dealing with these mobs are explained in Crafter’s Guide to RexCraft. The mod is starting off with two dinosaurs, however, there are plans to continuously add more as time progresses.
