About

Description

This is a supplementary mod to my other mod RexCraft. It's just a recipe book, like "Materials and You" from Tinker's. The player will spawn with the item upon joining the world for the first time, and there is currently no way to craft the book. Once opened by right-clicking, there will be prev, next, and home buttons. Sections of the book will have a table of contents that allows the player to skip from section to section in the book. Some pages will have a section at the bottom with items required for making whatever is on the page. Some of these can be clicked and will take the player to the page that the item is from.

Now, you're probably thinking; "Why would you make this a separate mod?" The short answer is I do not like coding GUIs. The longer answer is that this is a prototype, and I don't want to weave it into the actual mod and then have to gut it later on to add the newer version. I don't have a lot of experience dealing with GUIs at all, much less in Minecraft and I don't want to make more work for myself later on by weaving a crappy feature into my mod.
