About
Description
This mod aims to encourage players to play together in parties by adding benefits while in a party with trusted friends.
Also take a look at my other project RichardsHomesMod as it will make getting around in the game so much easier!
By adding a player to your party you will receive a message that you asked him/her to join your party (the player does not have to be on-line to do that)
If the other player also adds you to his/her party the name in your partylist (/party list) will turn green, indicating the player is now in your party
This mod will add the following commands:
/party add <player> //adds the name of a player to your partylist (if the player also added you, will join your party)
/party call_party //summons your entire party to your location (consider not to use to much as this might get annoying to others)
/party channel_XP <player> //will transfer all your XP points to this player when you get close to him/her (player has to be in your party)
/party chat_mode global //when chatting everyone can see your messages
/party chat_mode party //when chatting only players in your party can see your messages
/party chat_mode proximity //only players no more then 7 blocks away can see your messages
/party heal <player> //will heal the player when you get close to him/her sacrificing your own HP (this does not kill you and you can do it for more then 1 player, they have to be in your party)
/party list //will display your partylist (names in green are in your party (lightblue recieves XP, red will be healed, yellow will recieve XP and will be healed)
/party remove <player> //will remove the player from your partylist (if the other player still has you in his/her list the name will turn gray)
/party return //will return you to the location you were before any teleports in this mod (you could be summoned by a 'call party', teleport to several other players and still return to the spot you were before all that)
/party teleport_to <player> //will teleport you to the given player
Notes:
a player in heavy armor standing in front while 2 players or more have him/her on 'heal' while eating food or potions will make this player very powerful!
you can disable XP_channeling or heal on a player by issuing the command again
Dynamic command argument suggestions have been added on version 1.1
Healing has been tweaked on version 1.1
This mod is beta so if you find any bugs, pls let me know
Configuration will be added later, to edit proximity chat and heal distances, to set max players in party (currently 5) etc...
If you have any ideas, need anything added, need the mod in another version of the game etc,, let me know below or in Discord
I will always try to help as soon as possible :)
