Description

Ring of the Hundred Curses

You thought this ring would give you power?

No. It is a suffering contract you signed yourself.

Ring of the Hundred Curses is a Minecraft Forge survival challenge mod made for players who enjoy difficult gameplay, sabotaging their own plans, and watching their friends slowly lose their minds.

The mod adds 100 curses. They do not simply spawn more enemies. Instead, they target your habits and punish you for relying on familiar solutions:

  • Want to sleep? Not tonight.
  • Ready to go mining? Your tools may suddenly become useless.
  • Wearing a full set of armor? Congratulations, you now move slower.
  • Finally found a village? It might only be a mirage.
  • Planning to trade with villagers? Your items are being held by customs.
  • Jumped into the water to escape? The timer has started. When it ends, you sink.
  • Hiding behind a wall? The mobs may not consider it a wall.
  • Preparing to fight the Ender Dragon? It has its own ending soundtrack waiting for you.

These curses are designed to create problems that are not always deadly, but are always annoying. They disrupt your plans, punish your habits, and give you a nasty surprise just when you think you understand the rules.

Main Features

  • 100 malicious survival curses
  • Every curse can be enabled or disabled independently
  • Extensive configuration for chances, damage, range, duration, and limits
  • A curse advancement is completed only after the curse actually takes effect
  • Custom status effects and damage types
  • Mirage structures that lure players into chasing things that are not really there
  • Chinese and English localization
  • Support for single-player and multiplayer worlds

Curse Categories

Combat, mining, movement, swimming, sleeping, enchanting, trading, fishing, farming, cooking, portals, exploration, mob behavior, and many other things you thought were supposed to work normally.

Configuration

You can manage the curses through the Cloth Config GUI, or edit the configuration file directly:

config/ring_of_the_hundred_curses.toml

Each curse can be configured independently. You can choose a relatively gentle experience—or enable all of them and find out how long your world can survive.

You are not actually going to enable all 100 curses, are you?
