About
Description
Finally bringing computers on legs to Minecraft!
Features
- Huge Variety in Customization
- At least 386201104 possible combinations
- Gain perks & attributes based on different types of materials, inspired by Tinker's Construct
- Install modules to add abilities like energy shields, teleportation and self-destruction
- Make robots defend you in combat, protect your underground bunkers, transport items interdimensionally, go mining or kill all villagers named Dave
- Build a robot army to annoy friends and disassemble their home
- Perks and Modules are fully customizable via datapack, see the wiki!
Robotics is supposed to be played with other tech mods, providing means of energy generation and obtaining steel. Some materials from other mods are also useable as robot materials, check out especially Thermal Foundation!
Dependencies
- Required: GeckoLib
- Optional: Just Enough Items provides in-game recipe lookup. Some features will not work without it
- Optional: CC: Tweaked a significant part of the features depends on this, although the mod is very much playable without
- Optional: Patchouli provides in-game documentation
Known Issues
- Machine Arms are not shown holding the item
- Machine Arms clip with robot and environment
- Command API is unrelieable, likely depending on server load
- Report any other issues you find on github
Future Development
Feel free to leave suggestions here on curseforge. Please keep in mind that this is something I made using a lot of my free time. In fact I will need to take a break from Modding rather soon. This means there will be likely no new features for a while. I will still try to provide support as much as my schedule allows. But this also depends on you! If you enjoy the mod, please share and I will be much more motivated to invest time! I will also support newer version of minecraft, if people wish for it (other modloaders are out of reach, though)!

- The Caliko Library provides the Java implementation of the Inverse Kinematics algorithm used to control the factory arms
- Some textures are recolors of other people's work:
- Arms & Legs by Robotics Parts
- Full credit for the robot textures to sixfootblue, originally uploaded here
- Minor parts of the code are inspired by other mods, esp. Mekanism
