The mod introduces 3 new blocks, namely transmutation tables, one for each type of resource (wood, stone, metal) which can transmute a resource into one of the same type, from vanilla to mod, mod to mod or mod to vanilla. As I release more mods, I will also update the recipes included here. This mod is certainly not required to play/enjoy other mods I've made but it does add a lot of convenience and it could be the only way to obtain certain resources without console commands on saves where those resources were not included at the moment of world generation.
Simply interact with any of the new blocks having a book and quill equipped and the recipes will be written down in it. After loading a new mod, interact with the written book again to refresh.
This mod was built to solve 2 problems on mods I'm developing concerning resources, namely:
- resource generation - In mods, when you add new ores, types of stone or wood, even if you add them at the world generation stage, worlds already generated without this mod will not have those resources within. In my view, simply adding trades with villagers isn't a satisfying solution, especially for resource-heavy recipes. This mod aims to fix that by allowing you to turn vanilla resources into mod resources for all my mods.
- resource waste - Perhaps you have too many stacks of a mod resource that you don't want to keep because you won't need such a large quantity of ore/wood/stone. Then you can also convert these to other materials from other mods I've made or even to vanilla resources (which are always needed)!
