Title

The Rolling Giant: Oldest View mod brings a disturbing presence from the analog horror series The Oldest View into your Minecraft world. Deep beneath the surface lies an abandoned mall. The Rolling Giant waits quietly, unmoving as long as you’re watching. After entering the mall once, he begin to spawn outside, waiting and hunting on you, no matter where you are, he knows where you are. Looking away for a moment might be your last mistake.

[OLD] What is my console spaming?

Most mobs use special spawning conditions, which means that these mobs can only appear under certain conditions. If the spawning conditions work, this spam is created in the console.

[OLD] Why are Mobs not spawning?

Spawning Conditions determine which conditions must be met in order to spawn certain mobs. Some mobs only spawn above Y level 60. Some below. Most mobs can only spawn in the overworld than in other dimensions.

► Why are features missing in different versions?

It is recommended to play the newest versions of higher minecraft versions.

Not all features of MCreator available or the same in different versions.
For example: Version 1.19.2 doesn't have the feature of shield, better structure generation or custom villagers, but Version 1.20.1 does have them.

► Where can I find the Mall?

The Mall structure most likely generates in forests or plains. It's very rare and you might not noticed it, since it's entrance is only one block in the ground. You can easily locate the structure by using the /locate command.

► How can I disable the Rolling Giants breaking blocks?

The Rolling Giant breaking blocks can be disabled if you set the gamerule "mobGriefing" to false.

► How can I enable the Rolling Giant to spawn?

The Rolling Giant spawns naturally if you entered the mall strucute. Otherwise you can enable instantly by setting the gamerule "rollingGiantSpawning" to 2.

► Why can the Rolling Giant still move when looking at it?

If you look at the Rolling Giant, he cannot move. However, if you stand too far away (approx. 100 blocks) the raycasting no longer works. The system behind raycasting is complicated and can sometimes lead to errors.

If there are multiple Rolling Giants, raycasting can also fail.

The Rolling Giant

The Rolling Giant is an entity that first appears in the underground mall. After encountering him once, he will begin to spawn near the player, always knowing where you are. The Rolling Giant is extremely durable, dealing high damage and massive knockback. He remains motionless when looked at directly, but he can dash, suddenly rushing forward even while being watched. His rolling sounds echo loudly when he moves, making his approach unmistakable. Rarely, when nearby, he can spawn a dead horse beside him and cause a blinding effect, referencing his origins in The Oldest View. He can also break blocks in his path and will only attack players who have previously entered the mall.
