About
Description
This is a standalone mod containing the parry system from Deepwoken Craft as a standalone mod.
This mod requires PlayerAnimator to be installed.
Parrying
Clicking G will cause you to parry.
If you are hit within 10 ticks (0.5 seconds) of initiating the parry, you will parry the attack.
Parrying an attack will make you immune to it and knock the attacker back a bit.
Parry cooldown is immediately reset upon successful parry (configurable).
For those that are interested in the rolling mechanic, use the Combat Roll mod.
To enable the configurable invincibility frames, launch the game with the mod installed, then go to
configs > combatroll > server
and set "invulnerable_ticks_upon_roll" to 10 (suggested) or any amount of ticks of your choice.
Configs:
parry_cooldown - Cooldown in ticks before the player is able to parry again.
parry_window - The window in ticks after pressing the parry key that successful parries can occur.
refund_parry_cooldown - Whether or not to immediately set parry off cooldown upon a successful parry.
