Description
Rooney's AI Training Data Collector gathers gameplay data to train an AI to master Minecraft. Help us build the next big thing in gaming by simply playing the game you love—all personal data is excluded!
Ever wondered what it takes to train an AI to play Minecraft? This mod is your chance to help! By simply playing the game, you'll be contributing to a groundbreaking machine learning project. We collect gameplay data and send it to our server to train a Minecraft-playing AI that we hope to one day have compete in real matches. Every session you play helps us push the boundaries of what's possible with AI.
Data We Track
We believe in full transparency, so here is a complete list of all the data we collect. It's all in-game data—nothing personal.
Player Vitals: Your health, hunger level, and whether you're alive or dead.
Player Actions: Key presses (WASD, jump, sneak, etc.), when you attack or use an item, and any in-game events like eating food, taking damage, or dying.
Game State: Your location (X, Y, Z coordinates), the time of day, current biome, and whether it's raining or thundering.
Inventory & Equipment: A list of items in your inventory and what you're holding. We also track held item durability.
Environmental Data: The light level around you and the block you're standing on.
Targeting Data: What block or entity your crosshair is pointing at, its distance, and its health if it's a living entity.
Nearby Entities: A list of other mobs and players within a 32-block radius, including their health and location.
Screenshots: Screenshots are taken every few seconds to give the AI visual data, which is crucial for training.
We do not collect or save any personally identifiable information like your IP address, real name, or account details. We only use your Minecraft player UUID and in-game name to organize your data on our server, ensuring your privacy is protected.
