Ruby Craft

Ruby Craft is a vanilla-style Minecraft mod that adds a new Ruby tier to the game, including Ruby ore, Ruby tools, and Ruby armor.

The goal of Ruby Craft is to add Ruby as a natural progression material while keeping the overall Minecraft experience simple and close to vanilla gameplay.

Features

• Adds Ruby Ore to the Overworld • Ruby Ore generates between Y -64 and Y 72 • Ruby Ore is intended to be rarer than Iron but more common than Diamond • Ruby Ore drops Ruby directly • Adds a complete set of Ruby tools • Adds a complete set of Ruby armor • Includes Ruby Sword, Pickaxe, Axe, Shovel, and Hoe • Ruby equipment is designed as a new tier between Iron and Diamond • Ruby armor has a durability value of 25 • Vanilla-style recipes and progression • No additional gameplay systems are required

The mod is designed to keep its items straightforward and familiar to Minecraft players rather than introducing complicated mechanics.

World Generation

Ruby Ore generates naturally in the Overworld from Y -64 to Y 72.

Its intended rarity is between Iron and Diamond, giving Ruby its own place in the early-to-mid game progression.

Ruby Craft does not require any additional mods or libraries to function.

Installation

  1. Install NeoForge for Minecraft 26.1.2.
  2. Download the correct Ruby Craft ".jar" file for your Minecraft version.
  3. Place the ".jar" file in your Minecraft "mods" folder.
  4. Launch Minecraft using the NeoForge profile.

No third-party textures or assets are intentionally included in the project.
