My girlfriend, Ruby :3
BrandonItaly for allowing me to use the X-Mas Mashup pack
Dependencies
Oh omg there are dependencies oh wow because I'm lazy, anyways we only have two at the time of writing this, rather three if you count the dependencies having their own dependencies and such.
(made our config ACTUALLY WORK, I tried writing my own and failed)
- Sub dependency the mod requires KotlinForForge
Terrablender (helps us integrate our custom biome easily and effectivly

And please join the Discord if you Have suggestions, questions, or any bugs to report as of now we are the only two testing this mod so we need it (also I LOVE suggestions, nothing too wild though try to keep the idea of vanilla, I'm not making a mech godzilla suit or something)
Content
Ruby’s Mod is a vanilla+ style Minecraft mod built from a collection of fun ideas, some are mine, some are my girlfriend’s, that I decided deserved to exist in the game. There isn’t one single theme that ties everything together, instead it’s a bunch of things we thought would be cool, I guess not really sure how to explain it.
One of the biggest highlights is dyeable vanilla gear. Using an item called Enamel, you can coat vanilla armor, tools, weapons, and even horse armor (excluding leather and stone) to make them dyeable. After dyeing your gear, fire it in the Kiln to permanently set the color. Don't like hwat you crafted? Well craft a Scraper to remove the enamel and start fresh.
The Kiln itself is a new utility block similar to a smoker or blast furnace. It features its own firing recipe type, smelting blocks like clay, sand, and cobblestone faster than a standard furnace. It’s the mans for oddball recipes and is fully datapack compatible for custom creations if one chooses too.
We add two new biomes to the game the flower valley and its snowy variant. These biomes add every vanilla flower to the biome, as well as, our flowering oak trees (spruce for the snowy one). These flowering trees come in many different colors being every dye color the game currently has to offer. We also have wildflowers that are the same color as these trees that spawn in the flower vallies.
To go with our flowering biomes we have our many flowering blocks that includes leaves, logs, saplings, and vines. These currently are only for oak and spruce logs, leaves, and saplings for our two biomes and you can as of now only obtain a flowering vine from shearing aflowering log. Also if you shear flowering leaves or vines you can get their respective wildflower color.
Last little bit is the Catlish language that adds ":3" at the end of everything, that's it for that one (now includes compatibility with other mods).
Smaller Features:
Backported Content: Enjoy (some) modern features in older versions, including Copper armor/tools, Netherite horse armor, and the Masoned/Bordure Indented banner patterns, everything implemented to (hopefully) work with modern resourcepacks if you want your resources changed (please let me know if this is an issue it isn't perfect).
The Saw The Saw acts as an infinite axe for stripping logs, including a recipe to bulk craft stripped logs using the saw.
Pruner This handy tool allows you to cycle the textures on our flowering blocks between three variants
Mortar & Pestle This can be used to break down dyes into pigment that can be used to dye things just like dye.
New Recipes: Craft name yags, create Mud (8 Dirt + Water Bucket), and many more I honestly can't remember (and it is an extensive list).
Animal Crates: Capture and transport land or sea creatures (grants a non-stacking Slowness I effect while carrying).
Natural block slabs like sand, dirt, gravel, grass, and moss (literally all of them currently).
New Foods: Bake Sweet Berry Pies (high hunger, low saturation), Chicken Pot Pies (high saturation, mid hunger), horse meat, and squid meat.
Edited Drops: Frogs now drop slimeballs, horses drop horse meat, squids drop squid meat .
Berry Protection: Wearing leather leggings and boots prevents berry bush prickle damage and stops them from slowing you down, you're welcome.
Bonemeal-able Flowers: All flowers can now be bonemealed to reproduce similar to how bedrock works.
Enchanting Buffs: Blocks no longer block the path between Enchanting Tables and Bookshelves (if enabled in server config). Plus, a server config allows you to increase the Enchanting Table’s reach vertically, horizontally, above, and below (basically more customization than needed but hey those are the values Minecraft gave me).
Enchantments: Pants Off A unique addition for your gear, look at a player and boom your pants are in your hand, don't ask why I added this, I forgot I did LOL. Shearful This enchant is for your shears and allow sheeps to drop more wool than normal upon shearing them.
Social: Press "K" to kiss other players when nearby, hehehe :3
Griefing: Toggle whether Creeper explosions destroy blocks (they still deal damage).
Atmosphere: Adjust or remove the music delay and raise the cloud height to whatever (not sure if there is a limit beside the max integer limit) for better mountain views.
Built-In Packs There are some bult-in resourcepacks, a compatibility pack for 0miuni0's cinnamoroll gui pack, a bushy leaves pack to make leaves bushy (including flowering leaves), and a valentines pack for your gui.
Totally no April Fools features also enjoy the decuple-compacted poppy blocks, good luck getting those legitimately (they go up to decuple, do the math)
Honestly there is more most likely and I can't remember them or aren't sure what I added to this list or I am lazy, this hits all the major features though I think.
Compatibility
Currently available for Minecraft 1.21.1 (NeoForge only). Forge and Fabric ports may come in the future (probably not), but NeoForge is the priority for now until I feel like I have added way too much and can't think of more ideas.
