Safe Tools

Safe Tools prevents players from using damageable items when they have exactly 1 durability left.

Features

  • Blocks using tools and weapons at exactly 1 durability
  • Prevents block breaking with nearly-broken tools
  • Prevents attacking entities with nearly-broken weapons
  • Plays a warning click sound when the action is blocked
  • Lightweight and vanilla-friendly
  • Supports Fabric from 1.20.1 through 1.21.11

Why use it?

This mod helps prevent accidental tool breakage during mining, combat, and general survival gameplay.

Notes

  • Works with damageable items such as pickaxes, axes, shovels, hoes, swords, and similar modded tools
  • Creative mode is not restricted
  • Designed to be simple, lightweight, and compatible with modpacks
