About

Description

Simply More Lava is my first mod, which basically adds 8 recipes (including 1 for the new block)to Minecraft that give lava more uses.

Last but not least, the Heating Cauldron: A new block crafted with 4 nether bricks and 3 iron, which generates 1,000 mB of lava per cobblestone and can hold 2 buckets. It works with any forge fluid pipe.

**[WARNING]** Be careful when walking on a full Heating Cauldron. You will be burned even if you don't touch the lava; it's still HOT. And remember, don't spill the lava because if the heater contains any lava, you will get splashed. Finally, don't try putting more cobblestone in a full Heating Cauldron because it will overflow.

(I'm planning to add more recipes and blocks, stay tuned)

Simply More Lava is my first mod, which adds 4 very important new blocks (Heating Cauldron, Solar Heater, Solar Reflector, and Pressure Smelter) and 7 new lava-related recipes.

the mod

The Heating Cauldron: A block crafted with 4 nether bricks and 3 iron, which generates 1,000 mB of lava per cobblestone and can hold 2 buckets. Depending on the heat source, magma, or Solar heater (or even both), the time it will take for the lava to generate will change. It works with any forge fluid pipe. With the help of a magma block below, just drop a piece of anystone BLOCK and listen to that baby sizzle. (It will output a redstone signal based on how full it is)

[WARNING] Be careful when walking on a full Heating Cauldron. You will be burned even if you don't touch the lava; it's still HOT. And remember, don't spill the lava because if the heater contains any lava, you will get splashed. Finally, don't try putting more cobblestone in a full Heating Cauldron because it will overflow.

The Solar Heater: A block crafted with 3 glass 4 netherbricks, and 1 amethyst shard, which generates a highly concentrated lazer during peak sunlight hours (2000 to 10000). It serves as an efficient alternative to magma for heating the Heating Cauldron and can be used to smelt any item compatible with the process under its lazer.

The Solar Reflector: This block is used to reflect the solar heater's lazer horizontally and is crafted with 1 amethyst block, 2 glass blocks, and 6 nether bricks. With this, you can now use the solar heater's lazer for more than one side of the heating cauldron, but be careful because this block also adds a new hazard with the lazers. The lazers can only reach 4 blocks.

With the new 1.5.5 update comes a better heat system.

Heating Cauldron processing time The base time is 5 seconds with no heat (but obviously, no lava will be generated with no heat)

(Maga block on the sides = -0.25 sec)

(Maga block on the bottom = -0.50 sec)

(lazer/Solar Reflector on the sides = -0.75 sec)

(Solar Heater on the bottom = -1 sec)

The Solar reflector can also be turned off with a redstone signal

The Pressure Smelter: Last but not least, the new Pressure Smelter crafted with 1 anvil, 3 iron, and 4 nether bricks, when placed on the Heating Cauldron, it will use the lava to create 5 new recipes. Like making diamonds with a coal block, which, with 1 bucket of lava and a little patience (1 min) and doubles your raw ore output in half a min using one bucket of lava, and making enchanted golden apples with 9 golden apples and 2 buckets of lava in half a min. (also has a slot for any stone block to refill the heating cauldron automatically when empty)

7 new lava-related recipes.

Functions with any log type alternative source of obsidian more better way to use Raw ore blocks (works with iron and gold) NO MORE MAGMA SLIME HUNTING!!!

(I'm planning to add more recipes and lava functionality)
