Sardine's Alchemy
No reviews yet
Sardine's Alchemy adds a few useful but relatively difficult to obtain potions/potion effects that behave uniquely, intended to keep the brewing/alchemy side of the game fresh.
Centers around fantasy elements such as spells, rituals, and magical energies, often involving personal empowerment and magical automation.
General improvements to world generation, such as bug fixes, aesthetic overhauls, or misc additions.
Forge is a popular mod loader for versions 1.1+ of Minecraft.

Description
Sardine's Alchemy is a mod that aims to add several new potion effects (most obtainable and useable by the player), each with their own unique effects and quirks.
Right now there is only three added potion effects, but there will be many more in the future as I keep adding onto this mod.
Below is a list of added effects (spoiler in case you wish to go in completely blind):
Toxin - A harmful effect caused by the rare Nightshade plant, a newly added plant that spawns very rarely in the overworld, or most commonly spotted in lush caves, where it can be seen infecting any mobs that get near it..
Toxin is a virulent effect, easily contracted from mob to mob, with the ability of wiping entire villages, mob farms or your beloved pets.
Practice social distancing!
How to obtain Nightshade:
Nightshade must be sheared with a pair of shears, or else you risk causing it to release a cloud of Toxin in a radius around it.
Be mindful when collecting this dangerous plant, it releases a cloud of Toxin every few seconds when idle, so one should not take too much time when collecting it.
How to obtain Potion of Toxin:
Brewing a Potion of Poison II with a Nightshade plant will result in a Potion of Toxin that lasts for 1 minute.
Milk will not save you from Toxin.
Tranquility - A positive effect that must be brewed by a player. Tranquility acts as a pacifier to most mobs, able to calm down even the hungriest of undead, and the meanest of creepers.
Any mob under the effect of Tranquility loses the will to fight anyone as long as they do not sustain any damage or somehow manage to harm someone whilst under the effect.
Most hostile mobs also stop attacking anyone under the effect of Tranquility, making it a way to travel through the night or dangerous caves without the worry of mobs sneaking up on you.
Attacking or getting hurt whilst under the effect of Tranquility will instantly remove the effect.
Boss mobs or strong hostile mobs are not affected by Tranquility and will attack as normal.
How to obtain Potion of Tranquility:
Brewing a Potion of Regeneration of any level with Cake will result in a Potion of Tranquility that lasts for 1 minute and 30 seconds.
Aggression - A harmful effect that must be brewed by a player. Aggression acts the complete opposite of what Tranquility does, it turns any mob affected by it or the ones nearby to attack.
Any mob under the effect of Aggression becomes indiscriminately hostile towards anything and anyone (excluding from Creepers). Mobs nearby will attempt to take down Aggression inflicted mobs (unless they're a creeper or if the afflicted mob is a creeper), even if they're passive, or even their own kind.
At higher amplification levels, mobs (not players) inflicted with Aggression gain boosts in speed, strength and resistance, keeping them fighting for way longer.
How to obtain Potion of Aggression:
Brewing a Potion of Tranquility of any level with a Fermented Spider Eye will result in a Potion of Aggression that lasts for 1 minute and 30 seconds.
