This mod adds a new level of danger to Minecraft in deep caves (below the Y=0 level). The deeper you go down, the stronger the curse will be when you try to climb up.
Centers around fantasy elements such as spells, rituals, and magical energies, often involving personal empowerment and magical automation.
Centers on surviving in harsh conditions, managing resources, and fending off PvE threats.
Contains enhancements to cave generation, including ambience, decorative blocks, or changes to the noise generator itself.
General improvements to world generation, such as bug fixes, aesthetic overhauls, or misc additions.
Neoforge is a fork of the Minecraft Forge available for versions 1.20.1+ of Minecraft. Many Forge mods are compatible with Neoforge and vice versa.

Experience the horrors of the abyss in this mod! “Curse of the Abyss: The Mystery of the Depths” adds seven unique layers of the underworld, each cursed and harboring deadly dangers. The curses are activated when the player climbs more than 10 blocks at a time.
Layers and their curses:

| 2 | -129 to -256 | Nausea III, Hunger III, Weakness II, Slowness II |
| 3 | -257 to -417 | Nausea III, Hunger III, Weakness III, Slowness III, Auditory hallucinations |
| 4 | -418 to -577 | Nausea III, Hunger III, Weakness IV, Bleeding, Auditory hallucinations |
| 5 | -578 to -737 | Slowness III, Miner's Fatigue, Blindness, Weakness V, Bleeding, +12 lifting damage |
| 6 | -738 to -897 | When climbing more than 10 blocks, maximum health is reduced by 5 HP up to 1 HP |
| 7 | -898 to -1024 | Death Layer: Any attempt to climb results in instant death |
