Sculk Sickness
A forbidden sickness is growing in the deep dark, stay away or face the consequences…
Sculk Sickness adds a very configurable sickness effect to Minecraft.
How it Works
Sculk blossoms are a new block added in Sculk Sickness, essentially being the catalyst for the infection. They have 4 growth states, the last being the one before it spews its spores.
After becoming too close in contact when the blossom is spewing its spores or otherwise breaking the blossom you will become infected. There are 5 configurable stages with their own symptoms. Any mob can be infected unless it is a sculk entity.
To become uninfected you will have to journey and create the Ambrosia Herb. Once it is obtained, simply eat it to be cured.
If you are unable to be cured and die with the effect, your corpse will spread sculk and create a new blossom, thus repeating the cycle.
Although not directly compatible with every sculk mod, it can be configured to be so with modifying this mod's tags & config.
