Description

SaveMySaves​ is a lightweight server-side Minecraft Forge mod that auto-backups the world you're playing into timestamped .zip files, keeping only the newest N copies per world.

  • Works in single player too​ — not just dedicated servers; the mod tracks the world you're currently playing and backs it up in single-player / LAN worlds as well.
  • Where backups go​ — inside each world's own save folder: saves/<WorldName>/_backups/<WorldName>_yyyy-MM-dd_HH-mm-ss.zip. The folder name _backups is configurable.
  • Fully configurable​ — edit config/savemysaves.cfg (category general): enabled, intervalMinutes (1–1440, default 15), maxBackups (default 10), backupDirName.
  • On demand​ — /backup now (alias /sms) triggers one immediately; /backup status shows settings and the latest archive.
  • No client install needed​ — messages are rendered server-side, so vanilla clients see plain text instead of raw translation keys.
