Sculky Echoes
The sculk has learned to remember.
Sculky Echoes is an expansion for the original Sculky mod, introducing new environments, creatures, resources, vegetation, equipment, and natural spawning throughout the world.
At the center of the expansion lies the Sculk Swamp, a corrupted wetland overtaken by towering Echo Willows, hanging vines, glowing flowers, and unfamiliar wildlife. Sculk Bees drift between Echo Bells before returning to nests hidden among the trees, while deposits of Sculk Uranium form far beneath the swamp’s surface.
But the infection is doing more than spreading—it is recreating life.
Memories Given Form
Sculk understands the world through vibration. Every creature that walks, breathes, fights, or dies leaves behind a pattern that the infection can remember.
When enough of these vibrations are absorbed, the sculk attempts to reconstruct their source. It grows new beings using the familiar bodies of animals, villagers, monsters, and other creatures it has encountered. These reconstructed organisms retain recognisable shapes because the sculk is following memories rather than designing entirely new forms.
However, no memory returns unchanged.
The resulting creatures possess corrupted appearances, altered instincts, and abilities shaped by the infection. They are neither ordinary animals nor perfect copies of what came before. They are living recollections—echoes created by the sculk.
Explore the Sculk Swamp
Travel through a dark, atmospheric biome where the infection has formed a complete ecosystem.
The Sculk Swamp includes the following:
-
Custom corrupted terrain
-
Naturally generated Echo Willow trees
-
A complete Echo Willow building set
-
Hanging vines and dense swamp vegetation
-
The glowing Echo Bell flower
-
Naturally generated Sculk Bee Nests
-
Sculk Bees with functional pollination and hive behavior
-
Sculk Uranium deposits beneath the biome
Discover New Life
Many creatures from the world of Sculky can now spawn naturally within appropriate biomes and dimensions. Instead of existing only through spawn eggs or commands, they have become active parts of the environments they inhabit.
Among them are corrupted animals, dangerous monsters, aquatic creatures, villagers, and powerful rare enemies. Some remain peaceful, some defend themselves when threatened, and others will immediately hunt anything that enters their territory.
The expansion also introduces creatures such as the Sculk Mooshroom and functional Sculk Villagers with their own trading system.
New Resources and Equipment
Mine both stone and deepslate variants of Sculk Uranium Ore, collect new materials, and obtain additional equipment designed for confronting the infection.
New equipment includes the following:
-
The powerful Sculk War Axe
-
The swift Sculk-Flame Dagger
-
Additional materials and items connected to the expanded sculk ecosystem
Requirements
-
Minecraft: Java Edition 1.21.1
-
NeoForge

Sculky Echoes is an expansion add-on. The original Sculky mod must be installed for it to function.
