Description

SecurityCraft Block Extend

Imagine that you are playing a modpacks with zombies everywhere, and your base required to be made up of Reinforced Blocks which zombies can't break. Unfortunately, there are only vanilla blocks you can choose or you spends a whole day in converting blocks in your base print by Schematic Cannon to reinforced one. That's why I made this SecurityCraft Block Extend mod.

SecurityCraft Block Extend is an add-on for SecurityCraft that expands its reinforced block system with new reinforced variants of vanilla and Create-based blocks. It also adds upgraded Chained Universal Block Reinforcers that can convert connected groups of blocks in one action.

This mod is designed for players who want more building and defense options while keeping the ownership, security, and reinforced-block behavior that SecurityCraft provides.

Requirements

  • SecurityCraft is required. The mod is built on SecurityCraft's reinforced block system and should be used alongside SecurityCraft.
  • Create is optional. The mod can be used without Create installed. If Create is not installed, Create-related reinforced blocks will not appear, and only vanilla-based reinforced blocks will be available.

Main Features

Chained Universal Block Reinforcer

This mod adds three upgraded versions of SecurityCraft's Universal Block Reinforcer:

  • Chained Universal Block Reinforcer (LvL1)
  • Chained Universal Block Reinforcer (LvL2)
  • Chained Universal Block Reinforcer (LvL3)

These tools work like SecurityCraft's Universal Block Reinforcer, but with an additional chained conversion mode.

  • Without holding Shift: left-click a block to reinforce or remove reinforcement from a single block, just like SecurityCraft's Universal Block Reinforcer.
  • While holding Shift: left-click/break a block to chain-convert all connected blocks of the same type. This can reinforce them or remove their reinforcement, depending on the tool tier and the action being performed.
  • Higher tiers have more durability.

The chained function is useful for quickly reinforcing large walls, floors, ceilings, and build projects without converting every block one by one.

New Reinforced Blocks

SecurityCraft Block Extend adds many new reinforced blocks based on SecurityCraft's reinforced block class. These blocks are intended to match the look and behavior of SecurityCraft reinforced blocks while covering more vanilla and Create-based materials.

Reinforced blocks added by this mod follow SecurityCraft's reinforced-block behavior, including ownership and protection mechanics. They can be created by reinforcing their normal counterparts with a Universal Block Reinforcer or a Chained Universal Block Reinforcer.

Inherited SecurityCraft Behavior

Because this mod is built on SecurityCraft, the reinforced blocks generally inherit SecurityCraft's reinforced-block rules:

  • Blocks are owned by the player who placed them.
  • Only the owner can interact with or break owned blocks, unless team ownership is enabled in SecurityCraft's config.
  • Reinforced blocks are intended as secure, unbreakable-style variants of their normal counterparts.
  • Vanilla pistons cannot move reinforced blocks, but reinforced pistons can push them.
  • Reinforced blocks may have a slightly darker tint to distinguish them from normal blocks. This can be disabled in SecurityCraft's config.
  • If Jade or The One Probe is installed, block ownership can be viewed in the mod overlay.

  2. To convert a single block, left-click it without holding Shift. This behaves like SecurityCraft's Universal Block Reinforcer.
  3. To convert a connected group of the same block type, hold Shift and left-click/break one of the blocks. All connected blocks of the same type will be converted.
  4. Right-click can open the converting GUI like SecurityCraft's Universal Block Reinforcer.
  5. Use the reinforced blocks in your base to create secure walls, floors, vaults, and other protected structures.

Notes

  • This is an add-on for SecurityCraft. It does not replace SecurityCraft.
  • Create is optional. Without Create, the mod still works, but Create-related reinforced blocks will not appear; only vanilla-based reinforced blocks & Chained Universal Block Reinforcer will be available.
  • Not every modded block is automatically supported. This mod adds specific reinforced variants for selected vanilla and Create-based blocks.
  • SecurityCraft's config controls features such as team ownership and reinforced block tint.
  • More reinforced blocks and compatibility may be added in future updates.
