Description

Leaderboards in a chest window — and nobody has to install anything.

This mod runs on the server only. Your players join with a vanilla client, type /leaderboard, and get a proper GUI with player heads and rankings. No client mod, no modpack, no "download this first".

How

It uses vanilla's own chest container instead of a custom screen type, so every client already knows how to draw it.

What it shows

Nine categories, read straight from Minecraft's own statistics — the game has been counting all of this since forever:

  • Blocks mined — with the most-mined block named
  • Diamonds mined — ore broken, and how many diamonds that yielded
  • Mobs killed
  • Items crafted
  • Tools used
  • Items picked up
  • Fewest deaths — ranked ascending, least deaths wins
  • Time played
  • Distance walked — walking, sprinting and sneaking added together

Every player the world knows is included, not just those currently online. Hover a category to see who leads; click it for the full ranking; hover a head for that player's numbers.

/leaderboard mined        straight to one category
/leaderboard check        raw numbers as text, handy over RCON

German is built in as a second language (/bestenliste). The menu follows each player's own language setting.
