Settings History: One Step Undo

Review applied Minecraft setting changes and restore the latest change for one setting at a time.

Open the history from the pause menu or the main Options screen. Search by setting name, check when it changed and how the value changed, then select Restore. A restore changes one setting and is recorded as a new history entry; unrelated settings keep their current values.

The history survives restarts. An entry can be restored only when it is the latest change for that setting and the current value still matches the recorded result.

Settings History tracks vanilla sound, video, controls, key bindings including NeoForge modifiers, chat, accessibility, and skin settings. Values applied through Sodium or Reese's Sodium Options are recorded after Apply. Language, resource-pack selection, monitor-specific display modes, mod settings, and server settings are not tracked.

In a vanilla settings screen, hovering or focusing a tracked setting adds one comparison line under its description, showing the most recently applied change and the value in use now. It appears only when the current value still matches the recorded value.

With FancyMenu, automatic menu buttons are not added. Open the history from NeoForge's mod details, Fabric's Mod Menu, or an assigned in-game shortcut.
