Description

RPG shield combat overhaul and 54 unique shields with custom abilities. Guard Stability, perfect guards, guard breaks and a skill shield.

Features

- 54 Unique Shields. Each has its own stats and a skill that triggers on raise, block, or perfect guard.
- Guard Stability. Blocking drains stability. Let it hit zero and your guard breaks, stunning you and putting the shield on cooldown. Stop taking hits to let it recover.
- Perfect Guard. Block right as an attack lands to take zero damage and trigger your shield's skill.
- Damage reduction. Shields block a percentage of damage, not total immunity.
- Stamina. Holding a shield up costs stamina.
- Reworked Vanilla Shield. No more OP vanilla shield.
- Fully Craftable. Every shield is craftable from vanilla items, All recipe in crafting book.

Works with other mods

Any item from any mod can be turned into a shield with a JSON file.

Config

- `config/shieldrpg-synced.toml`: Guard break cooldown, recharge delay, perfect guard window. 
- `config/shieldrpg-startup.toml`: Turn off recipes.
- `config/shieldrpg/shields/*.json`: Add, change or replace any shield.
