Short King

Play as the short one. This mod shrinks you to half height and swaps normal beds for small one-block beds, so the world feels built for your size.

WHAT IT CHANGES

Half-size player
When you join a world, you are shrunk to half your normal height. Doors, ceilings and trees tower over you, you can walk through one-block-high gaps and tunnels, and the camera sits lower to the ground. Your armor shrinks with you.

Half-size armor stands
Armor stands shrink to half size when they appear in the world, so they stand at the same height as you.

Mini beds in all 16 colors
Each mini bed is a single block (a normal bed takes two) with a wooden base, a colored mattress and a white pillow. You can line a room with them or tuck one into a corner a normal bed would never fit.
- Crafting: use any normal bed recipe (3 wool of one color over 3 planks). You get the mini bed in that wool's color.
- Sleeping: right-click one at night to lie down, skip the night and set your spawn point, like a normal bed.

Villagers use them
Villagers treat mini beds as homes. They claim them, walk to them at night and sleep in them, so a village can house more villagers in the same space.

Villages with mini beds
Newly generated villages, and other newly generated structures that contain beds, now come with mini beds instead of normal ones. The colors and the direction they face are kept.

GOOD TO KNOW
- Normal beds you already placed stay normal, and they still appear in the creative menu.
- Normal bed recipes now give mini beds.
