🚬 Cigarette Mod
A simple, immersive addition to your world that introduces custom smokeable items and a new farming utility. Perfect for roleplay, decoration, or just taking a quick break between mining trips.
 
📦 Features
  • Cigarettes: A classic smokeable item that grants a unique status effect.
  • Cigars: A premium smoking option that gives a significantly stronger level of the cigarette effect.
  • Dried Ferns: A brand-new crafting material harvested from regular ferns, exclusively used to roll cigars.
 
🧪 Dynamic Potion Effects
To keep gameplay fresh and balanced, the status effects granted by smoking will probably evolve and change throughout future versions of the mod.
  • Cigarette: Gives a base level of the current version's custom potion effect.
  • Cigar: Gives an amplified, higher-tier version (e.g., Level II) of the same effect for maximum impact.
  • Check the latest version changelog to see what effect is currently active!
 
🛠️ How It Works (Crafting & Mechanics)
  • Harvesting: Gather regular ferns from the wild.
  • Drying: put a fern into a furnace and cook it to get a Dried Fern.
  • Crafting Cigars: Use your newly made Dried Ferns in the middle lane of the crafting grid and paper around it.
  • Crafting Cigarettes: use dried kelp in the middle lane and paper around it while leaving one vertical line at the start/end empty.
  • Smoking: Hold right-click for exactly one second to consume the item. This triggers some campfire particle effects and activates your status buffs.
