Simple Totem

A totem pops. The next one is already in your hand.

Simple Totem is a tiny client-side mod that refills your off-hand with a Totem of Undying the instant one is used, so you are protected again without opening your inventory.

Requires V1ERZ Framework (installs automatically with the CurseForge app).

Features

  • Auto re-equip: a popped totem is replaced from your inventory, main inventory first, then hotbar.
  • Smart detection: only reacts to a real pop. Moving a totem yourself or using swap-hands is left alone.
  • Low totem warning: tells you when you have 1 spare totem (or fewer) left. Set your own number.
  • Optional extras: equip whenever your off-hand is empty, and a "Totems: N" counter on the shared V1ERZ HUD.
  • Server friendly: one normal inventory click after a short delay. No server install needed.

There is also a rebindable "Toggle Auto Totem" key in Controls (unbound by default). Settings are saved in config/simple_totem.json.

Compatibility

Minecraft 1.21.1, Fabric. Requires Fabric API and V1ERZ Framework. Client-side only.

FAQ

Is this allowed on servers? It sends the same inventory click you would send by hand, but some servers ban automation in PvP. Check your server's rules, and raise the delay or turn it off if unsure. Does it work in creative? No, it is disabled in creative and spectator.
