Simple Submarines

Explore, mine, fish, and transport your friends underwater with six specialized submarines. Each vessel features a pilot cockpit, a walkable interior, dedicated cargo storage, and animated equipment.

Meet the Fleet

• Original Submarine: A versatile exploration vessel with 5 seats and 27 cargo slots.

• Mining Submarine: Features an animated drill that excavates a 6 × 6 tunnel centered on the drill head, collects block drops, and automatically moves forward as the path clears. Includes an ore scanner.

• Aegis Military Submarine: Uses a defensive shield to repel nearby guardians and deflect incoming projectiles.

• Mothership: Provides 9 seats, 54 cargo slots, and a recovery crane that lifts and collects empty smaller submarines while preserving their cargo and interiors.

• Fishing Submarine: Attracts nearby fish with a lure and captures them using an animated fishing net.

• Grand Nautilus: The largest vessel, featuring 11 seats, twin propellers, 54 cargo slots, an expanded interior, and submarine recovery equipment.

Interactive Cockpit Controls

Right-click the small animated dashboard screen to open the control menu. Manage lights, sonar, boost, position holding, cargo, interior access, and your submarine’s specialized equipment.

Boarding places you in a seat. Enter the walkable interior through the cockpit menu.

Persistent Interiors and Cargo

Interiors contain beds, chests, furnaces, and crafting tables. The Mothership and Grand Nautilus offer larger rooms with additional equipment.

Cargo and interior data remain attached to each submarine when it is collected or upgraded through crafting. Recovery equipment prevents collecting vessels with players aboard or inside their cabins.

Animated Equipment

Enjoy spinning propellers, a rotating metal drill, moving fishing nets, radar equipment, recovery arms, cables, claws, sonar pulses, propulsion bubbles, and sound effects.

Requirements

• Minecraft 1.20.1

• Forge 47.x

• Java 17

• Install the same mod version on both client and server.

Beta release: Mining respects Forge protection checks and skips containers, unbreakable blocks, and blocks with hardness above 5. Fishing captures fish already present in the world.
