Description

Simple Tree Harvester

A lightweight Fabric mod that lets you chop down entire trees in one go. Simply sneak and break a log with an axe, and the whole tree will fall from top to bottom.

How It Works

When you break a log while sneaking, the mod automatically detects the rest of the tree — trunk and foliage — and breaks it cleanly, passing player data for every block. This means compatibility with enchantments, drops, advancements, and other mods that rely on player interactions.

Why This Mod?

Most tree harvesters skip small step: they don’t pass player context when breaking blocks. This mod fixes that. Every block broken behaves as if the player did it themselves, ensuring better mod compatibility and a more consistent experience.

Configuration

  • maxLogs: Maximum "Logs" that can be in a tree 128 by default
  • maxFoliage: Maximum "Foliage" that can be in a tree 512 by default
  • disableLimits: Disables limits on maximum amount of Logs and Foliage we can break false be default
  • maxRadius: x/z bounds of a "tree" 8 by default
  • maxVertical: Maximum vertical size of the tree 48 by default
  • clumpDrops: Try to clump dropped blocks at origin point to reduce lag false by default
  • placeItemsInInventory: Try to place items in players inventory if possible false by default
  • requireFoliageAlongTrunk: Decides if a "Tree" must have foliage attached true by default
  • minLeaves: Minimum leaves that need to be attached to trunk to qualify it as a "Tree" 3 by default
  • breakOverworldLeaves: Decides if it will break basic leaf blocks false by default
  • breakNetherWartAndShroomlight: Decides if it will break nether "leaf" blocks false by default
  • breakMushroomCaps: Decides if it will break mushroom "leaves" false by default
  • breakChorusFlowers: Decides if it will break chorus flowers false by default
  • foliageSeedNeighborRadius: Radius where foliage checked for breaking, limit exist to prevent excessive leaf removal 1 by default
