SkillForge v3.0.0 — Celestial Ascension: Quests Update is a complete progression mod for Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.11, built with Fabric. It adds a large, server-authoritative skill tree where players spend Minecraft experience levels to unlock abilities, powerful bonuses and specialized playstyles.

What is SkillForge?

SkillForge lets every player build a completely different character through an interconnected skill tree. Develop your combat, mining, movement, survival, exploration and other abilities, then complete your available tree to Rebirth and unlock even more progression.

Version 3.0.0 expands the experience with infinite Rebirths, a 120-node Celestial Tree, 600 quests and 35 Minecraft advancements.

Skill Tree

Press K to open SkillForge's custom skill-tree screen.

The interface includes connected skill nodes, prerequisite paths, multiple ranks, tooltips, purchase sounds, mouse dragging, mouse-wheel zoom and branch navigation.

The normal skill tree preserves its familiar appearance while gaining additional progression through Rebirths.

Rebirth System

To Rebirth, you must purchase every currently available rank of the normal skill tree.

Each Rebirth resets your normal skill progression, increases your Rebirth Level, unlocks additional portions of the tree, awards Celestial Points and unlocks harder quests.

Rebirths have no hard maximum. Your inventory, equipment, world and vanilla advancements are not reset.

Celestial Tree

The Celestial Tree is a separate, permanent progression system containing 120 nodes across 10 sections.

Celestial upgrades improve experience gain, skill progression, quest rewards, combat, defense, movement and other gameplay systems.

You begin with 1 Celestial Point per Rebirth, which can increase through Celestial upgrades.

Progressive Unlocking

• Rebirth 1: Unlocks the first Celestial upgrade.
• Rebirth 2: Unlocks 2 additional upgrades.
• Rebirth 3: Unlocks 3 additional upgrades.
• Rebirth 4: Unlocks 4 additional upgrades.
• Further Rebirths: Continue expanding the available tree.

Owning enough points does not bypass Rebirth requirements.

Celestial Plane

After Rebirthing, enter a special cosmic interface featuring a luminous white Celestial Tree, stars, nebulas, atmospheric effects and vanilla-based cosmic sounds.

Navigate the tree, purchase permanent upgrades and press Return to Your World to resume gameplay.

The Celestial Plane is a GUI experience, not a separate Minecraft dimension.

Celestial Respec

Celestial upgrades can be refunded to recover spent Celestial Points.

Respecs cost vanilla Minecraft XP levels, starting at 5 levels and increasing progressively for additional points refunded in the same transaction.

Quest System

SkillForge adds 600 quests, organized into 12 categories with 50 quests each.

The system combines 240 fixed quests and 360 random/repeatable quests.

• Common — Rebirth 0

• Celestial — Rebirth 4+

Difficulty and rewards continue scaling with further Rebirths.

Quest Rewards

Quests reward vanilla Minecraft experience, helping players continue developing their skills.

The Quest interface includes category selection, rarity progression, objective tracking, reward previews, completion notifications and a Claim button.

Players begin with 3 active quest slots, which can increase to a maximum of 5 through Celestial upgrades.

Minecraft Advancements

SkillForge adds its own tab inside Minecraft's vanilla Advancements screen.

Version 3.0.0 includes 35 advancements: 29 regular and 6 secret.

Achievements cover skill progression, Rebirth milestones, Celestial upgrades, quests and hidden challenges. Major milestones use Minecraft's Challenge advancement frame.

Advancements provide no additional item, XP or stat rewards.

Multiplayer and Persistence

SkillForge supports single-player, LAN worlds and dedicated Fabric servers.

Important progression actions are validated server-side, including skill purchases, Rebirth eligibility, Celestial purchases, refunds and quest reward claims.

Each player has independent progression, and version 3.0.0 preserves compatibility with previous SkillForge saves.

Performance Improvements

Version 3.0.0 includes cached Celestial Tree geometry, viewport culling, reduced unnecessary rendering calculations, lightweight cosmic particles and event-driven quest tracking.

Quest progress is synchronized through small network updates instead of repeatedly sending the entire quest catalogue.

Configuration and Administration

Server administrators can configure progression and balance settings, including Rebirth requirements, Celestial Point rewards, quest difficulty, XP multipliers and respec costs.

Administrative tools are also available for managing Celestial Points and quests.
