Slash is a highly configurable server utility mod that gives you access to control how your server functions.
This mod is still under development, but the following functionalities are mutual as more are coming.
1.Teleporting player (to other player or a location)
2.Porperty protection (Protect against thiefs or griefers)
3.Economic system (trade between players or server shop)
4.Login password (for offline servers)
5.Command permission (Owner can decide which player may use what commands)
New Functionalities (under testing or development) are down below:
6.Item Restriction (Owner can ban a certain player from using or having an item)
7.Mass Editing (Mass edit your world)
 
As there are many bukkit plugins that do the same thing as Slash,
here are a few qualities that make slash stands out:
1.Slash is a mod developed with forge, this means you can use slash and other mods togather without worrying about compatibility issues.
2.You only need to install Slash on the server side to have it working, so if you are frist time using Slash, you don't have to tell all your players to download Slash, they can still join the server normaly, and use all Slash's utilities. (Without installing slash on a client, some graphic user interface will not show)
3.Slash works on single player, LAN server, dedicated servers.
4.instead of having to configuring though commands without know what's already in there, most of slash's settings can be edited with a txt file, which comes in a clean format.
5.without changing the settings, your server will work as how it works before you install Slash, only what you change will take effect.
6.Changes made to slash loads instantly, you can change most settings without having to restart your server.
7.Settings are highly configurable, you can go to the very detials like what arguments a player can use for a command.
