About

Description

In the vast realm of SlashBlade, the power creep has long gone out of control. With countless add-ons flooding in, blade stats have become a chaotic mess—some swords one-shot the Ender Dragon, while others struggle to tickle a zombie. The sad result? You pour hours into forging and upgrading a blade you love, only to find out it's the "King of the Underdogs"—pathetic damage, useless SA, and an SE that might as well not exist. (Yeah, I'm looking at you, mod author. You know what you did.)

To make things worse, the "SlashBlade: Resharped" system allows a blade's final damage to reach up to twice its original value. So the strong become gods, and the weak remain garbage. Modpack maintainers are pulling their hair out trying to balance hundreds of JSON files—balance? What's that? Can you eat it?

Then, one day, the author binge-watched a documentary on "King of the West" (Da Xi Wang) and had an epiphany:

"Since extremism has turned this world into a bloodbath… why not try something extremely non-extreme?"

Thus, the mod SlashBlade:UnUnExtremeAddon was born! For now, it introduces two very "non-extreme" tweaks:

  • Tweak 1: Above the Wheel? Become the Wheel. Any blade with a default attack damage greater than 18 (configurable) gets brutally nerfed down to 18. You had 30 damage? Sorry, pal—the wheel is the limit. (No offense to wheels; they're just trying to keep things rolling fairly.)

  • Tweak 2: Reverse Gear—The Fun Way! Remember the good old days when every point of Refinement actually increased your damage? Well, they're back! Now, each Refinement point adds +1 damage (configurable ratio and cap). No matter how low your base damage is, grind enough and you'll stand tall.

In short, this mod is all about balance—no more extremes, no more power creep. It gives forgotten "underdog blades" a second chance, while keeping the overpowered ones in check. Modpack authors can finally keep their hair, and players can enjoy their favorite blades without feeling like they're handicapping themselves. Because now, everyone rides the same wheel—it's just a matter of who grinds more.
