Hardcore Additions
Have you ever had fun playing with friends in a hardcore world, until that one player starts digging straight down until he meets his end? Then this mod may just be for you!
What is this?
A mod that adds revives to hardcore worlds.
You will permanently lose hearts for every death.
Hearts can be gaines back by eating an enchanted golden apple.
You can configure the amount of lost & gained hearts, as well as the option to go over 10 hearts.
For PvP, you can disable heart loss or even enable how many hearts can be "stolen".

How does it work?
Start a hardcore world and change these gamerules:
-
hc-additions:revive_heart_loss
(amount of hearts lost, default: 2) -
hc-additions:apple_heart_restore
(amount of hearts gained back, default 1) -
hc-additions:allow_bonus_hearts
(can go over 10 hearts, default: false) -
hc-additions:pvp_heart_loss
(loose hearts in pvp, default: true) -
hc-additions:pvp_heart_steal
(gain hearts through pvp kills, default: 0)
Footnote
For multiplayer: Players without this mod will see "Spectate World" instead of "Revive". This is only a visual change, the behaviour stays the same.
At the moment, this mod works only for hardcore worlds. This may change in the future.
