About
Soft Steps Enchant introduces a brand new enchantment to the game: Soft Steps. Designed for brave explorers, this enchantment allows you to navigate the dark depths of Ancient Cities with ease. When equipped, your footsteps are completely muffled, preventing Sculk Sensors from detecting your movement and ensuring you won't accidentally summon the Warden.
You can obtain the Soft Steps enchantment in four ways:
- Enchanting Table: It can be acquired through standard enchanting mechanics.
- Ancient City Loot: For those exploring the deep dark, every loot chest found within an Ancient City has a 20% chance to contain this rare enchantment.
- Vanilla Commands: The mod seamlessly integrates with the game, meaning it is fully compatible with standard vanilla commands.
- Villager Trading: You can also acquire this enchantment by trading with Librarian villagers, just like other standard enchanted books.
Settings
Thanks to the integration with Mod Menu and Cloth Config, you can easily customize the mod's behavior to fit your playstyle. The following options are available:
- "Can be obtained in Enchant Table?" (Yes / No)
- "Can be obtained in loot chests?" (Yes / No)
⚠️ Important Note: If you modify the Can be obtained in loot chests? setting during an ongoing playthrough, please keep in mind that the changes will only apply to newly generated (unexplored) chunks. Chests in already loaded Ancient Cities will not be affected by the configuration change.
Multiplayer
To ensure everything functions smoothly in a multiplayer environment, this mod must be installed on both the client and the server.
