The idea behind this mod is that I wanted to add some extra biomes to complement the vanilla ones rather than to steal the spotlight (though there are some really neat ones you might stumble across sometimes). Some of these might feel very familiar to you, as they are vanilla inspired. There is some overlap between other biome mods, so you can disable biome generation in the config if you spot any conflicts.

Great Mountains
Cold River
Sunken Grove (Hills)
Red Desert (Hills)
Red Plateau
Cold Forest (Hills)
Rainforest (Hills)
Shrubland
Grassland

Sunken Grove Hills A hilly variant of the sunken grove biome with more surface exposed. -
Sunken Grove A rare swampy biome with fossils, lots of greenery, and deep blue water. -
Shrubland A blend of all the savanna types with greener greenery. And shrubs. -
Red Plateau An uncommon biome that shows up as a high, flat red shelf. I had no idea this existed before I made it. -
Red Desert A regular desert, but with red sand. Several other mods add this, so be sure to disable this biome if there are any conflicts! -
Rainforest Hills A hilly variant of the rainforest biome. -
Rainforest A refugee from Minecraft beta filled with oak trees, ferns, and the occasional parrots. -
Mixed Forest Hills A hilly variant of the mixed forest. -
Mixed Forest A thick forest with oak, birch, and spruce trees. -
Great Mountains Giant mountain ranges that can go up to build height. Very reminiscent of the old amplified world type. -
Cold River A river that borders cold biomes. -
Cold Forest Hills A hilly variant of the cold forest. Reminds me of the old tundra biome. -
Cold Forest Like a plain forest, but covered in snow. Credit to whoever came up with this idea first. -
Grassland Like the plains, but greener and with a bit more sugar cane.
