Description

ko-fi

Soky's Various Things Pack, or SVTP for short (formerly called EVTP or Exploder's Various Things Pack) is a mod adding handful of decorative and (in some cases) functional blocks to the game.

Requires Architectury API to work. Fabric version requires Fabric API. Fabric version should work with Quilt as well as long as you're using Fabric API or (assuming it's available) Quilted Fabric API / Quilt Standard Libraries.

New blocks include:

  • Armored glass (including panes and stained/tinted variants) that's as resistant to explosions as obsidian is
  • Stone doors which are stronger than wooden doors, but weaken than iron ones
  • Golden torch and soul torch, 2 different variants for each, a fancier alternative to normal torches
  • Paper bundle, 6 different variants, decorative blocks that can be used to more compactly store paper
  • Redstone lantern, a slightly more explosion-resistant alternative to redstone lamps that can also be turned on/off by hand
  • Dead flower, a flower-like alternative to the dead bush, adding variety to biomes it can spawn in

Also available for 1.12.2 in Minor Integrations and Additions.

Armored glass blocks support connected textures when using Fusion (but due to some issues this currently does not apply to armored glass panes).

Armored glass (with pane) and tinted armored glass All variants of armored glass are as resistant to explosions as obsidian is. However, they are mined slightly faster. Tinted variant works like vanilla tinted glass.
  • Stained armored glass (with panes)
Stained armored glass (with panes) Stained armored glass matches the color of every vanilla stained glass.

  • Paper bundles (from above)
Paper bundles (from above) You can compactly carry paper in a block form. Compacted paper has 6 variants in total for your decorating needs.
  • Paper bundles (from below)
Paper bundles (from below) The paper bundles can be quickly harvested with shears. They are also rather flammable.
  • Golden torch with soul variant
Golden torch with soul variant Golden torch is a fancy replacement to a normal torch. It provides a slightly more light than a normal torch.
  • Annealed golden torch with soul variant
Annealed golden torch with soul variant The annealed golden torch (with its soul variants) are themselves variants to the normal golden torches. Due to their size their hitboxes are slightly bigger as well.
  • Dead flower at a desert
Dead flower at a desert Dead flowers will bring a little more variety basically anywhere a dead bush can be found. However, they are less common than it.
  • Dead flower in a pot
Dead flower in a pot Dead flowers can also be placed in a pot or used as a very ineffective fuel in a furnace.
  • Redstone lantern (unlit, from the front)
Redstone lantern (unlit, from the front) Redstone lantern works similar to a redstone lamp. However, it can also be turned on and off by hand.
  • Redstone lantern (lit, from the front)
Redstone lantern (lit, from the front) It only lights up if it's powered either by redstone or manually, but not both at the same time.
