Description

Sleep through the night — without skipping it!

Somnora replaces Minecraft's instant night skip with a smooth, continuous passage from dusk to dawn.

As you fall asleep, the screen darkens, the camera settles and the world grows quieter. Morning arrives naturally instead of appearing in a single cut.

Watch the night move...

Time advances smoothly while you sleep. Clouds and weather follow the accelerated night, while selected plant growth can keep pace.

Somnora never accelerates Minecraft's global tick rate. Redstone, machinery and the rest of the game continue running normally.

In multiplayer, sleep begins only when the world's existing player requirement is met.

Wake Well Rested!

Stay in bed long enough to reach morning and you can wake with Well Rested — a configurable reward earned through actual night progress.

Well Rested can improve mining, movement, Luck and experience gain while reducing exhaustion.
Entering a bed is not enough; the night has to count.

Made for your world

Somnora is designed for both singleplayer and multiplayer. Its defaults provide a complete experience out of the box, while client and server settings let you adjust presentation, pacing and balance.

Configuration files are always available for direct editing. On Minecraft 26.2, NeoForge provides its native Config screen; Fabric users can access Somnora's configuration screen through the optional Mod Menu.

 

Shader-friendly

Somnora is compatible with most shader packs and normally requires no special setup. Since shaders can render skies, clouds and overlays differently, visual results may vary between packs.

 

Requirements

Choose the file matching your Minecraft version and mod loader:

  • Minecraft 26.1.2 — NeoForge 26.1.2.94 or newer
  • Minecraft 26.2 — NeoForge 26.2.0.59 or newer
  • Minecraft 26.2 — Fabric Loader 0.19.3 or newer with Fabric API 0.156.0+26.2 or newer
  • Install the matching Somnora file on both client and server
  • Fabric API is required only for the Fabric version
  • Mod Menu is optional

 

Release

Somnora 0.1.0 is the first stable release for Minecraft 26.1.2 and 26.2.

Available in English and 11 additional languages.

Somnora may be included in modpacks.
