Soul Pouches

Soul Pouches aims to serve as a more balanced alternative to traditional gravestone mods.

With gravestone mods, the consequences of dying are largely dependent on where and when you die. You may die right next to your base where you can immediately recover your items, or you may die miles from home, in a dangerous dungeon, or in another dimension where it may be difficult or impossible to recover your items. Furthermore, it is possible to have your grave destroyed or stolen, making you lose your items permanently.

Soul Pouches avoids these issues by adding a special item that spawns in your inventory after you die, holding your dropped items and experience. This item can be unlocked for a fixed cost, ensuring the consequences of dying are always the same.

The recovery cost is 1 Diamond by default, but can be configured to use any number of experience levels or vanilla/modded items.
