🪦 SoulLife-SMP - Death System Mod

A  death system for Minecraft SMP servers. Die and become a ghost, sacrifice items to revive, or lose permanently after 21 deaths.

HOW IT WORKS

After dying, you enter GHOST MODE with severe restrictions. To revive, collect the required sacrifice item for your death count. At death 20, you need a Dragon Egg. Fail, and you become a permanent spectator.

Death 2: Gold Ingot

Death 3: Emerald

Death 4: Diamond

Death 5: Golden Apple

Death 6: Iron Block

Death 7: Gold Block

Death 8: Emerald Block

Death 9: Diamond Block

Death 10: End Crystal

Death 11: Netherite Scrap

Death 12: Netherite Ingot

Death 13: Totem of Undying

Death 14: Netherite Upgrade Template

Death 15: Wither Skeleton Skull

Death 16: Nether Star

Death 17: Enchanted Golden Apple

Death 18: Netherite Block

Death 19: Beacon

Death 20: Dragon Egg (FINAL - PERMANENT SPECTATOR)

GHOST MODE - ABILITIES & RESTRICTIONS

YOU CANNOT:

❌ Break blocks

❌ Place blocks

❌ Use Flint & Steel

❌ Drop or remove armor

❌ Pick up ghost armor

YOU CAN:

✅ Open containers (chests, barrels, shulkers, etc.)

✅ Use buckets, ender pearls, bows

✅ Eat food

✅ Move freely

✅ Still take damage (can die again!)

GHOST ARMOR

You wear: Skeleton Skull + White Leather Armor

- Binding Curse (can't remove)

- Auto-deleted if picked up from ground

- Prevents griefing

TOTEM OF UNDYING

Holding a Totem protects you from death:

✅ No death penalty

✅ Armor doesn't drop

✅ Works at any stage

PLAYER COMMANDS

/soullife check

  Shows your current death count

/soullife next

  Shows the next item you must sacrifice

/soullife info

  Shows mod information and version

/soullife gui

  Lists all 20 sacrifice items in chat

/soullife language

  Change your language

/soullife language list

  View all supported languages

All commands support Tab autocomplete!

ADMIN COMMANDS 

/soullife edititem <death#> <item>

  Change a sacrifice item to any other item

  Example: /soullife edititem death1 emerald

/soullife reset

  Reset all items to default values

/soullife add <player> <amount>

  Add deaths to a player

  Example: /soullife add Steve 5

/soullife remove <player> <amount>

  Remove deaths from a player

  Example: /soullife remove Steve 2

/soullife set <player> <amount>

  Set a player's death count to exact value

  Example: /soullife set Steve 10

Craft a Dragon Egg for Death 20 revival!

Recipe:

        End Crystal

Crying Obsidian | Nether Star | Crying Obsidian

Netherite Ingot | Netherite Ingot | Netherite Ingot

Netherite Ingot | Netherite Ingot | Netherite Ingot

         ↓

     Dragon Egg

Required Materials:

✅ 1x End Crystal (from The End)

✅ 2x Crying Obsidian (Nether)

✅ 1x Nether Star (from Wither)

✅ 6x Netherite Ingot (crafted from scrap)

Change ANY sacrifice item to any mod item!

Works with Applied Energistics, Farmer's Delight, Twilight Forest, etc.

FABRIC: Minecraft 1.20.1 + Fabric API (REQUIRED)

FORGE: Minecraft 1.20.1 (no extra dependencies)

TIPS

- Always carry a Totem of Undying

- Keep sacrifice items in safe containers

- Ender pearls help navigate as a ghost

- Use /soullife check to know what to farm

- Craft Dragon Egg early for death 20 safety
