# 🎵 SoundboardMC
 
Play songs from your own computer straight into **Simple Voice Chat**.
You hear them, and so does everyone near you, just like your voice.
 
## How to use
 
1. Start Minecraft once. A `soundboard` folder appears next to your `mods` folder.
2. Put your `.mp3` or `.wav` songs in it.
3. Join a world or server with Simple Voice Chat.
4. Press **J**, then click a song to play it. Click **Stop** to stop.
 
## Features
 
- 🎶 Plays `.mp3` and `.wav` files
- 🎤 The song goes through your voice chat microphone, so nearby players hear it
- 🎧 You hear it too, while it plays
- 🔇 Works even when you're not talking, or while your mic is muted
- 📂 "Open folder" button to add songs quickly
- ⌨️ Change the key in Options → Controls → Key Binds → Miscellaneous
 
## Requirements
 
- **Fabric** with **Fabric API**
- **Simple Voice Chat** (on your game and on the server)
 
## Do other players need this mod?
 
**No!** Other players only need **Simple Voice Chat**. To them, the
music sounds just like you talking in voice chat.
 
 
## Good to know
 
- Simple Voice Chat must be turned on, with a working microphone selected.
- One song plays at a time. Clicking another song switches to it.
- Players hear the music from where you are standing, so it gets quieter as
they walk away.
- Please only play music you have the right to share, and be kind to the
people around you. 🙂
