About

Description

Sparkcoil is a spark-powered tech mod for Fabric. Wind copper coils, store charge in glass cells, melt things in a kiln that lights up like a forge, and tame a copper beetle born from lightning.

FEATURES

Crank Coil - a hand-cranked generator. Turn the handle and watch the drum spin up, ringed with racing lightning.

Spark Cell - a glass battery that glows like a plasma globe. It can relay spark to its neighbours or hold it in reserve, and it reaches out towards players who stand close.

Spark Kiln - a spark-driven smelter with real doors and a firebox. The item hangs inside, struck by arcs, and a flash marks every finished piece.

Storm Collector - put a lightning rod on top and it catches storms. Its copper rings lift off and spin round the rod, and every strike sends shockwaves across the ground.

Arc Lamp - a live arc of light that flares when it is lit, sputters when it runs low and glows ember-red as it cools.

Coilhook - a charged hook with two modes, pull and grapple. Its spark burns in the crook and runs up the coil.

Tuning Fork - sets a block's frequency. Strike one and every fork nearby rings with it.

Frequencies - machines only share spark with others on the same frequency, so you can build separate networks side by side.

The Spark Beetle - a tameable copper beetle that is born when lightning strikes a rod. It drinks spark from your machines, rides on your shoulder, flies, and wears its charge as crackling arcs.

EVERYTHING IS ANIMATED

Moving parts, glowing windings, lightning and rings of light show what each machine is doing at a glance. Fine detail is only drawn close to you, so large bases stay smooth.
