📜 Original mod

This is an unofficial port of Spartan HUD: Baubles 1.0.0 by ObliviousSpartan (Minecraft 1.12.2, Baubles). Original source: github.com/ObliviousSpartan/SpartanHUD-Baubles, license Apache-2.0, which allows derivative works. All of the content, art and ideas are the original authors'.

How this port differs from the original

• Runs on Minecraft 1.21.1 with NeoForge and Curios or Fabric and Trinkets, and on Minecraft 1.21.11 with NeoForge and Curios; Curios and Trinkets are the 1.21 successors of Baubles (the original is for 1.12.2 with Baubles).
• Fixes and requests from the original's issues: the hotbar skin disappearing with more than 7 slots and an option to show empty slots (#1), a broken ring staying on the HUD until the inventory is opened (#2).
• An unknown value in the config file no longer crashes the game; addons get events around every Curio drawn on the HUD.

Spartan HUD: Baubles by ObliviousSpartan showed your equipped Baubles on the HUD, and stayed on Minecraft 1.12.2. This port moves it to Minecraft 1.21.1 (NeoForge with Curios, Fabric with Trinkets) and 1.21.11 (NeoForge with Curios): a client-side HUD element that shows the Curios or Trinkets you have equipped, with the bugs of the original fixed.

Features

• Nine alignments: any corner, the middle of any edge or the centre of the screen, plus X and Y offsets.
• Horizontal or vertical.
• Four skins: the vanilla hotbar, a tooltip frame, a minimal gradient (with configurable colours), or none.
• Any number of Curios: slots continue in a new row or column when the screen is full or after a set length.
• Empty slots with their Curios icons, if you like.
• Live: durability bars and stack counts update as you play; hidden with F1 and in spectator mode.
• Config screen with a live preview: Mods → Spartan HUD: Baubles → Config, with a Preview HUD button, in game or from the main menu.
• For addons: RenderBaubleOnHUDEvent.Pre / .Post fire around every Curio drawn.
• 6 languages: English, Russian, Ukrainian, German, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil).

Installation

• Client-side only: put the jar and Curios (Fabric: Trinkets, Fabric API, Forge Config API Port) into mods/ on the client. Servers don't need it (they need Curios / Trinkets).

What was fixed

• The hotbar skin disappeared with more than 7 slots (#1); empty slots can be shown now (#1).
• A ring that broke stayed on the HUD until the inventory was opened (#2).
• An unknown value in the config file crashed the game.
