Description
Spectacular Mobs of Peligoro
A world where the great extinctions never finished the job. Every creature here is the living descendant of something that should have died out — still evolving, still adapting, and now sharing your world.
(Older and unfinished version of Peligoro.)
Tangoftero
A small pack-hunting theropod that hates the undead and sweeps the plains in feathered flocks.
Ancestor: Troodon (troodontid deinonychosaur). The line that never lost its nesting colonies — it kept the big eyes, the brooding instinct and the shared rookeries, and traded raptor solitude for a flock that fights as one.
- Attacks any undead on sight, unprovoked — zombies, skeletons, drowned. When one flockmate engages, the rest converge to help (flock assist within 10 blocks).
- Tame it with raw rabbit (1-in-3 chance per try). Once tamed it defends its owner.
- Feed it rotten flesh and it does more than heal: it rears up and lets out a roar that scatters every undead within 10 blocks (once every 30 seconds).
- Colonial nester: any adult tends any clutch, and when the nest is threatened the whole colony flees instead of avenging it.
- 9 color morphs, and its feathers craft the Tango Arrow — bonus damage against undead plus a scatter burst on impact.
- Breeds with raw chicken.
Spawns in: Plains, in groups of 2–4.
Kriftognathus
A thieving flying reptile whose coat takes the colors of the biome it was born in.
Ancestor: Dimorphodon The Medium Sized flying reptile has evolved to create mischeive and a cute but deadly persona.
- Its plumage is set by biome: jungle, badlands and snowy stock all wear different colors, locked in the moment it spawns or hatches.
- Wild ones circle you, dive in a stoop, and steal an item straight out of your inventory, then flee 25 blocks with it (5-minute cooldown).
- It won't be hand-tamed: drop raw rabbit on the ground and let it land and eat 3 to 4 times.
- Once tamed it perches on your head, and while it's gliding with you it keeps you under Slow Falling the whole time. It also follows you in flight.
- Solitary nester that actually defends its clutch — unlike the Tangoftero's colony.
- Yields meat and krifto wings for Krifto Stew.
Spawns in: Jungle and Sparse Jungle, Badlands (regular, Wooded and Eroded), Snowy Taiga and Grove, in groups of 2–3.

Salmon
A river salmon that, for the right bribe, turns over the riverbed and brings up what's buried in it.
Ancestor: Eosalmo driftwoodensis, the oldest known salmonid. A salmon that never went to sea — it stayed in fresh water for fifty million years, and its descendants still work the same gravel beds their ancestors did.
- Hand it a pufferfish and it starts excavating the riverbed — sand, gravel, mud or dirt — pathing to the block and breaking it itself (one command per minute).
- What it turns up depends on the substrate: flint, clay, potatoes and carrots, sandstone — and with a 12.5% chance a relic comes up instead: pottery sherds (Angler, Snort, Howl, Mourner, Skull, Danger, Explorer, Shelter) or bone.
- Breeds with raw cod and lays roe that hatches into fry.
- Sexed male/female, and it pitches and banks properly through every turn it swims.
Spawns in: every river variant, in shoals of 2–5.
Hell Hippo
A territorial swamp-and-savanna bruiser that stares you down first, gores you second, and only accepts a saddle once it's been knocked out cold.
Ancestor: Daeodon, the entelodont "hell pig." Entelodonts sit beside hippos and whales on the family tree, and this is the branch that followed them into the water — the aggression and the massive jaw are original equipment; the amphibious life is what it evolved into.
- Attacks players and animals unprovoked while wild. Linger nearby and it rises into an intimidation posture; hold its gaze for 5 seconds within 10 blocks and you take Fear (−4 attack damage, −15% movement speed).
- Earn its trust with raw beef (1-in-3).
- You have to knock it out to saddle it: hit it with Weakness (splash potion) and it collapses — that unconscious window is the only time it accepts the saddle.
- Full mount: chest with its own inventory, Hell Hippo Armor (+5 armor), mounted sprint, a mounted attack key, and the Intimidate ability — a Fear pulse in a 10-block radius with a cooldown bar.
- Genuinely amphibious: breathes underwater and walks along the bottom. Shakes itself dry on the way out.
- Kelp grows on its back over time — shear it for kelp.
- Females are often escorted by a calf (50%).
Spawns in: Savanna, Savanna Plateau, Windswept Savanna, Swamp and Mangrove Swamp. Always one at a time.
Nirasmosaurus
A warm-water marine reptile that hunts fish, squid and turtles, then hauls out onto the beach to rest like a seal.
Ancestor: Soft-Shell Turtles. The lineage that gave up the shell for speed and became a long-bodied swimmer by convergence — but it kept the beak and it never gave up crawling ashore to bury its eggs, which is why it still nests on sand and still outmuscles its distant turtle cousins.
- Active predator: hunts cod, tropical fish, pufferfish, squid and turtles. It bites differently on land than in water.
- Hauls out onto the sand to bask and sleep; slow and lumbering ashore, fast and fluid at sea, banking into every turn.
- Digs nests in the sand and defends the clutch against anything that comes near, players included.
- Breeds with cooked cod or cooked salmon; sexed male/female, and hatchlings follow their parents.
- Its beak crafts the Niras Spear: charge and throw it like a trident, it sticks, and you can pick it back up.
- 30 HP — the toughest wild animal in the mod outside the boss.
Spawns in: Ocean, Lukewarm Ocean and Warm Ocean, plus Beaches (where it only ever appears already hauled out on the sand). Alone or in pairs. Never in cold or deep oceans.
Grand Tyrant
The mod's boss: six meters of predator that shakes the screen with every step, and only one exists in any given region.
Ancestor: Megsalosaurid. These large theropods came from humble begginings- small and needy scavengers-but when they got the opportunity, they evolved into Peligoros most feared predator.
- 300 HP and four attacks it picks between by range and angle: bite, horn gore (18), claw swipe (20), and a stomp dealing 26 damage in an 8-block radius that cracks the ground and shakes the camera.
- The stomp doesn't track you — it lands where the animal is standing, so it's the one attack you can dodge by moving.
- Every footfall shakes the screen for anyone nearby, and it roars the moment it marks you.
- Holds a grudge for 20 seconds against whoever hit it, and hunts out to 40 blocks.
- Full sleep cycle: it sits, settles, sleeps and rises.
- Unique and territorial: it claims a 320-block radius and turns away any other that tries to appear inside it. It never despawns and never respawns — the one in your world was placed when the terrain generated.
Spawns in: Plains and Desert, always alone, roughly one per 640-block square — plenty of biomes get none at all.
